As teachers of the whole person, Ernest and Ruth Norman have made possible the turnaround of thousands of individuals who had been imprisoned in their emotional problems and situations. The Beginning
In 1954, with just a $200 monthly income from a small investment, Ruth, and her husband Ernest, began their mission to provide a higher spiritual understanding of life through the Unarius Science of Life Teachings. Since then, an estimated 500,000 people, worldwide, have been introduced to the Unarius teachings.
Ernest Norman was an advanced clairvoyant, scientist, electronic engineer, and poet. He was inspired to write textbooks on the nature of consciousness and interdimensional physics, to diagrammatically illustrate the principles of energy from a fourth-dimensional level of understanding.
Twenty pioneering books were authored during the seventeen years of Ernest’s and Ruth’s mission to bring a new science of life for the betterment of humankind. Because of their great determination and strength—an effort equal to that of many Gandhi’s—the work of the Normans soon began to reach interested individuals who were seeking answers to the enigmas of their lives. Requests for information began to arrive from around the world. In order to accomplish this labor of love, the Normans secluded themselves from their families so they could devote all their time to the mission—an incredible example of dedication and compassion for the many people who were seeking and needing spiritual-psychological help!
After Ernest’s Transition
After Ernest Norman made his transition to the higher planes of the light worlds in 1971, Ruth began to receive, from higher spiritual worlds, books describing the curriculum of the interdimensional science of life. From 1972 to 1993, she authored over 80 books of poetry, philosophy, and science. In 1975, Unarius was incorporated as a nonprofit, teax-exempt educational foundation and Uriel established the New World Teaching Center, known as the Unarius Academy of Science, in El Cajon, California. Within this center, which became the international headquarters for the foundation, there is a beautiful room called the Star Center that is covered with floor-to-ceiling wall murals depicting Atlantis at its zenith. During the ongoing classes and workshops held in the center, students are touched mentally by Master Teachers from the inner planes—an example of the attunement process necessary for good mental health.
Television and Film
In 1978, Ruth Norman began producing television programs and films, extending the teachings of Unarius to a wider audience. Several of these programs were psychodramas, a technique that had been introduced through her pioneering classes in past-life therapy. Students with film and television production experience arrived and soon were training others as the department expanded. Over 100 television programs and three full-length films have been completed. They are presently airing on public access cable television channels throughout the USA and are even archived on demand on one of the station’s web site.
Many thousands of testimonials from students around the world, archived in their letters at the Unarius Center, attest to the great help they have received. These students’ healings have been made possible through the their application of the scientific principles of cause and effect, described as a past-life therapy. Understanding the reality of the continuity of consciousness, that there is no death as life is continous, results in the true knowledge of one’s spiritual design and the importance of advancing the progressive intent of one’s evolution.

Higher States of Intelligence
In her biography, Bridge To Heaven, Ruth Norman recalls many psychic experiences in which she became aware of the continuity of life after death including flashbacks to past lifetimes, and visions of life on higher worlds.
One of her most vivid experiences took place during the period shortly after her husband returned to the worlds of spirit. She was looking through the window of her home when two unusual, brilliantly colored birds alighted on the fence during a pounding rainstorm. As she thought to herself how strange it was to see birds flying in the rain, especially ones with such brilliant plumage so unusual for Escondido, California, a great, golden-white pulsating flame appeared at her side. It was ten to fifteen feet in height! She strongly felt the presence of her recently departed husband, Ernest, and immediately was inspired to write several pages in verse form of the thoughts she received from him in spirit!
In this beautiful verse, Ernest Norman (Raphiel, as he is known by his true spiritual identity) spoke about his transition to the celestial planes. He gave an immortal lecture on the nature of man and his progression into higher states of awareness, and how this was true for all souls in future progressive evolutions!
Ruth Norman, whose true spiritual identity is the Archangel Uriel, knew without a doubt of the continuity of life after death. After this experience, she was overshadowed by Raphiel and the Brothers of Unarius in carrying out her functions as administrator, author, teacher, healer, and cosmic visionary.
Uriel
Ruth Norman’s great drive lay in her visionary awareness of the reality of life as a progressive development to higher states of intelligence. This knowledge was a part of her because of her own spiritual development as a hierarchical member of the Unarius Brotherhood. Although, like Ernest Norman, her humbleness was such that she took no credit and simply stated that she was merely the secretary to Infinite Intelligence, one cog in the great wheel of the Infinite Cosmos, the higher self of Ruth Norman (Uriel) is of a vast development, a Universal Radiant Infinite Eternal Light.
She has long worked for the benefit of humankind, by the side of Raphiel and others of the Unarius Brotherhood, throughout many, many lifetimes of great significance in the history of Earth and other worlds. Her previous lifetimes, as Socrates, Peter the Great, Charlemagne, Queen Elizabeth I, and Queen Maria Theresa have shaped the future for many countries—all a part of a one-million year progressive plan for the healing of humankind on Earth, which was set in motion by the Spiritual Hierarchy of the Unarius Brotherhood.
Her inspirational example continued through her lives as Hatsheput, Akbar of India, Quetzalcoatl, Atahualpa—the last Inca of Peru—and many others. These lives have been relived and recognized through the course of her recent incarnation as Ruth E. Norman, for the purpose of man’s enlightenment concerning the true identity of the many advanced spiritual teachers and leaders who have lived on Earth throughout its history and prehistory in Lemuria and Atlantis.
Perhaps most significant is the true story of Uriel’s incarnation as Mary of Bethany, the betrothed and thirteenth disciple of Jesus of Nazareth—a prior incarnation of Dr. Ernest L. Norman. This story is related in Uriel’s short autobiography, My 2000-Year Psychic Memory as Mary of Bethany.
It is now and always has been the desire and purpose of Uriel to overcome the inertia of individuals and humankind as a whole by presenting knowledge of the Interplanetary Confederation, thirty-two worlds joined in harmony and brotherhood. The future landing of emissaries from each of these worlds will occur when the peoples of planet Earth have opened their hearts and minds to be receptive to the arrival of these advanced, intelligent beings—the Space Brothers! Their mission is one of peace and friendship; their intention is to invite planet Earth to become the thirty-third member of the restored brotherhood of terrestrial planets within the Milky Way Galaxy!
Ruth’s Transition
Ruth Norman made her transition to the spiritual worlds in 1993, having successfully completed her mission on Earth. As one of the quadrocentric polarity known as The Hierarchy, consisting of Uriel, Raphiel, Muriel, and Michiel, she continues to inspire the progressive evolution of humanity from the celestial dimensions, along with millions of advanced beings known collectively as the Unariun Brotherhood.
Today, the Unarius Educational Foundation operates under the overshadowing influence of the Hierarchy and the Unariun Brotherhood to continue its mission to disseminate the teachings of a new science of life that will help develop humanity’s inner and higher spiritual consciousness.

To be a Unariun means that I am honest with my fellowman—to speak the truth at all times. I treat others as I wish to be treated and do not speak unkindly of others, either in or out of their presence, for I know that whatever unkindness I may feel with another is but a reflection of that which is within myself.
I do not boast that I may be a Unariun student, nor do I strive to pull others who are not familiar with the Science into it, for I know each soul has his own niche to fill, and at present Unarius may not be for him. However, this does not make me any better than he. It only means I have started upon my path of overcoming, which all souls shall likewise do at some time.
I appreciate the truth that no one soul is any better than another; that all souls are on evolutionary paths—some consciously, others in an unconscious way. In my understanding of Unarius, it helps me to understand not only my own problems better and how to cope with them, but also helps me to view others in their problems more objectively and not in a condemning or derogatory way, with the understanding of principle.
I have or am learning that I, myself, am the cause and fault for all my problems and blame no one else for them, and when I can objectify these original causes, healing takes place.
I am working toward the time when I leave the physical and can ascend into an astral world of a higher frequency, due to my present efforts to understand this ever-progressive way.
I realize it is not my place to go about pointing out the causes of others’ problems for each case is different, and I am, as yet, in no position to have that Infinite Contact with the Brotherhood from whence stem these answers. I am the only person I need to be concerned with, teaching-wise. And when one asks regarding the teachings, need I give out what information I may have or believe to be fact, shall I respond regarding Unarius. I know that by continued study and application of principle shall I promote my inner growth and expand my consciousness, and all others shall likewise need to study and apply the Unarius concept. Knowing these things, and acting thusly, does give me a sense of inner peace and a security unobtainable elsewhere.
I am aware that the objective of a Unariun is to become today a better, more intelligent soul than I was yesterday. I know that the former, old ways, the emotions and reactions—the resentments, hatreds, and desires to get even—have no place in the consciousness of a truly striving Unarius student; for we must forgive not only ourselves for past ill deeds done, but also to release these attitudes toward others for one’s own benefit!
I have learned that one need not resent his negative past as it comes to him but to welcome this past that gives opportunity for overcoming these blocks, ties, shocks, etc.
If man learns to love instead of hate or criticize or carry revenge, etc., it can help We
Brothers to better extend our help to those in need, help the student to become more receptive to this ever-present help!
