Vixall’s population was 3.5 billion
Linno, an advanced electronic device or computer and the head of the electrodes, answered the call when the planet was contacted. Experiments began 200,000 years ago, initiating the creation of the electrodes, which relieved the people of much of the work in both homes and factories, as the electrodes were responsible for important tasks in the maintenance of Vixall’s cities. However, the electrodes, who called the people “helpers,” desired to become more human, like their creators, who had given over to the electrodes all physical work so that they could think on abstract matters.
Donatus erred when the electrodes were created
After Uriel’s contact, for these very advanced robots were activated from the subconscious mind energies of the people; the electrodes were sapping their energy. In order to reverse this situation, Donatus was inspired to devise an ingenious plan whereby the electrodes voluntarily agreed to submit themselves to the scientists for what they thought were new enhancements to their electronic mechanisms. In reality, they were dismantled and their advanced components would be used to build spacecraft.
