This is a different to our planet Earth.
The civilization on this planet was not advanced. Although a degree of scientific knowledge existed, the people had no spiritual understanding. Their method of transportation was via animals.
Overpopulated and underfed
Because the life expectancy was 150 years and there was no method of controlling birth, the planet was overpopulated and underfed—starvation was rampant. Palus, though not the world leader, was considered by the leaders to be highly sensitive.
